Many cities across Europe, including in The Netherlands, are rethinking urban living and trying to accommodate cities to become even more cycle-friendly. This will mean an increase in the overall number of cyclists, which is a positive thing when it comes to traffic pollution.

However, what about the households that share just one bike? Splitwise (splitwise.com) and other similar services aim to help flatmates split and track shared expenses such as food, trips, bills, rent and IOU’s. Could a similar system work in a household that had a shared bike? How would this system work and what features do you imagine it would have?
